Advantages and disadvantages of three harness shielding methods
This paper focuses on the advantages and disadvantages of three common harness shielding methods.
1、 Use shielded wire separately
Mode: each sensor and actuator adopts shielded wire and independent grounding.
Features: the engine harness can effectively shield external interference and external interference, and make each wire in the internal harness directly independent without mutual infection.
Disadvantages: each shield wire is required to be grounded from ECU, and ECU module is required to support sufficient grounding points; The line structure is composed of insulation layer + shielding layer + signal conductor + shielding layer grounding conductor.
2、 Anti electromagnetic interference shielding woven mesh is adopted
Method: using the existing weaving technology, the wire bundle branch and the main line adopt the metal weaving method.
Features: high reliability.
Disadvantages: large initial investment and low production efficiency; The sensors and actuators of the harness interfere with each other.
3、 Use shielding tape or bellows
Method: wrap the shielding tape outside the harness and then use the bellows, or directly use the shielding bellows.
Features: effectively shield RF interference.
Disadvantages: each sensing element and actuator interfere with each other, and the grounding impedance is large.
