How should PCB special components be laid out?

PCB Special components refer to important components of high-frequency components, core components in the circuit, components vulnerable to interference, high-voltage components, components with large calorific value and heterosexual components. The location of these special components needs to be carefully analyzed and the configuration meets the requirements of circuit function and production requirements. Improper placement may cause circuit interchangeability and signal integrity problems, resulting in PCB design failure.



How to place special components in the design shall be considered first PCB The size of the size. When the PCB size is too large, the printing line is long, the impedance increases, the anti drying ability decreases, and the cost increases. When the PCB size is too small, the heat dissipation is not good, and the proximity line is easy to be disturbed. After determining the PCB size, determine the placement position of special components. Finally, all components of the circuit are configured according to the functional units. The position of special components must comply with the following principles during layout:

1. Try to shorten the connection between high-frequency components and reduce distributed parameters and mutual electromagnetic interference. Components vulnerable to interference shall not be close to each other, and the input and output shall be as far away as possible.

2. Some components and wires may have high potential difference. Please increase the distance to avoid accidental short circuit caused by discharge. High voltage components should be placed out of reach.

3. Components weighing more than 15g can be fixed and welded with supports. Those heavy and hot components should not be placed on the circuit board, but on the bottom version of the main box, and heat dissipation should be considered. Thermal components must be kept away from heating components.

4. The layout of adjustable components such as potentiometers, adjustable inductance coils, variable capacitors and microswitches shall consider the overall structural requirements of wrenches. If the structure allows, the commonly used switches shall be placed where they are easy to be touched by hands. Balanced component layout, high density and top heavy.
