MIIT helps connector industry develop
Some time ago, the Ministry of industry and information technology issued the action plan for the development of basic electronic device industry (2021-2023), which is to help the electronic device industry produce high-quality products, stimulate innovation, promote the high-quality quantification of industry foundation and the modernization of industrial chain, and promote the development of domestic information technology industry.
The action plan lays out a blueprint for the development of the electronic device industry in the next three years. The overall goal is to further improve the competition for high-quality products and significantly improve the safety supply level of the industrial chain by 2023, basically to the intelligent terminal, 5g, new energy vehicle, intelligent network vehicle market, industrial automation equipment market and other important industries. In order to achieve a breakthrough in basic electronic devices, we must improve the guarantee capacity of the supply chain of important materials and equipment and improve the supply modernization level of the industrial chain.
According to the action plan, in 2023, the industrial scale and enterprise development, the total sales of electronic devices will reach 2100 billion yuan, and the sales scale of 15 enterprises will exceed 10 billion yuan. Now, China is the largest producer of electronic devices. The overall sales revenue of domestic related industries exceeds 1.86 trillion yuan, and the number of enterprises reaches tens of thousands. However, the quantity is large and the quality is not strong. The main problems are weak basic ability, weak independent innovation and few leading enterprises.
In this regard, from the aspects of promoting innovation, developing industries and service industries, the action plan puts forward seven key tasks, mainly formulating four safeguard measures, including industrial unification and coordination, policy support, industrial development environment, international exchanges and cooperation, so as to further improve the competitiveness of superior products and promote the construction of electronic device industry ecosystem
In terms of skill innovation, in order to break through the important technology of electronic devices, the overall innovation of the industry should increase investment and strengthen the patent layout of key products such as RF filters, high-speed connectors, chip multilayer ceramic capacitors and optical communication devices.
In terms of connectors, the development of high-frequency, high-speed, low loss, small photoelectric connectors, ultra-high-speed, ultra-low loss and low-cost optical fiber cables, high-voltage, high-temperature and tensile strength electrical equipment cables, high-frequency, high-rise and high-density PCB circuit boards, integrated circuit packaging substrates and special PCB circuit boards are key development fields.
China's connector technology is gradually developing towards the direction of high-speed, high-frequency and miniaturization of connectors, among which the competitive advantages of enterprises with strong R & D ability are becoming more and more prominent.
The action plan has added impetus to the development of the electronic device industry and made Chinese electronic device enterprises, including connector enterprises, look forward to it.
